From fast-flowing mountain passes to coastal sweeps, this carefully curated route promises an unforgettable driving experience paired with a premium lunch stop in one of Wales’ most picturesque locations.

🏁 Morning Drive: Wrexham to Penmaenpool

• Departure: 9:30 AM sharp from our meet point near Wrexham after a driver briefing and coffee.
• We’ll head west, quickly leaving the towns behind and entering North Wales’ dramatic landscapes, with flowing A-roads giving way to tight, technical sections.
• Scenic Highlights:
  ✅ The sweeping bends along the A5 corridor
  ✅ Picturesque stops near Betws-y-Coed and beyond
  ✅ Twisty climbs offering incredible views across Snowdonia
• Destination: We arrive at Penmaenpool shortly before 12:30 PM, nestled on the estuary with stunning views—our venue for a leisurely two-course lunch and plenty of time to relax with fellow members.

• A beautifully restored waterside inn offering traditional Welsh hospitality.
• Enjoy a locally sourced menu featuring seasonal produce, with vegetarian options available on request.
• Take in the serene estuary views as you dine and get ready for the afternoon’s drive.

🏞️ Afternoon Drive: Penmaenpool to North East Wales

🚀 Departure: 2:30 PM

• After lunch, we fire up the engines and head north through magnificent mountain routes, lakeside roads, and hidden gems across North Wales.
• Scenic Highlights:
  ✅ Cross the Menai Strait with glimpses of Anglesey on one side and Snowdonia on the other
  ✅ Stunning lakeside passes near Bala Lake
  ✅ Fast, open stretches through Clocaenog Forest and back towards Chester
• Photo Opportunities:
  ✅ Dedicated stops for professional photography against some of Wales’ most dramatic backdrops

🏁 Finish: Around 5:00 PM, near Ruthin/Denbigh, where we’ll conclude with a farewell chat and opportunity for final photos before heading home.
